Expert et allié des scientifiques / Expert and an ally of scientists

   Expert and ally of scientists

Allying the animal expertise, thanks to his experience and passion, with the economic knowledge driven by the success of the Farm in Pierrelatte, Luc was able to skillfully participate in the realization of projects like the one in Djerba (others are still under construction). Besides, Luc Fougeirol has always welcomed the scientific world in his premises, thus allowing various important discoveries on the crocodile (for example, Amélie Vergne and Nicolas Mathevon worked on their system of language while Jean-Michel Mazin of the National Centre For Scientific Research worked on imprints left by crocodiles and his colleague Jean-Yves Syre was interested in the embryology).

Discoveries do have their place in a touristic park in Luc Fougeirol's opinion. He organized successfully, together with Samuel Martin and Manu Janssens (Ophys company), the live reconstruction of Sarcosuchus Imperator (DVD) under the control of its finders Philippe Taquet and France De Lapparent de Broin, from the Muséum d’Histoire Naturelle in Paris.

This scientific recognition of the Farm of Crocodiles and its founders made them referents in reptiles. Therefore, it is to them that the press of popularization like the children's daily Mon quotidien resort on these subjects.
